1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Data collected automatically
When you open our website, your browser transmits data for technical reasons:
- date and time of the access
- browser type and version
- operating system
- the page you came from
- IP address, shortened by one octet
These data are used only to run the website securely and are never assigned to a person. The web server logs are kept by our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, in the EU (Ireland), and are deleted after fourteen (14) days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we process the subject, your email address and your message in order to answer you, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or, for general enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are delivered to us by email through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and are not stored on the website. We keep your message for as long as we need it to answer you and to follow up on your enquiry.
4. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To protect the contact form against spam and abuse, we use Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile checks whether the form is filled in by a person; for this it processes technical data of your browser and device, including your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. More: Cloudflare Turnstile privacy addendum.
6. Data processors
We use these service providers, bound by contract to process data only on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL: hosting of this website and delivery of contact form messages, in the EU (Ireland)
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Turnstile spam protection for the contact form
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, Article 45 GDPR). We pass on data to authorities only where the law requires it.
7. How long we keep data
- Web server logs: 14 days
- Contact form messages: as long as needed to answer and follow up your enquiry

8. Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Article 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16), to have data erased (Article 17), to restrict processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Article 21).
